Favorite Sites

Pin It Every once in a while I blog binge and will spend my free time for a few days by searching for and reading other blogs.  When I find a project I like, I'll add it to my favorites (which I have now organized by hobby), but I also have a separate favorites folder for blogs that are really fantastic.  These are people who regularly post amazing projects or ideas who I would love to be like.  I have always considered artists people who create really amazing, museum worthy paintings, sculptures, etc., and crafters are people who enjoy things like scrapbooking, quilting, sewing, etc.   But I believe these people have elevated the craft world and truly made art.

Martha Stewart's Craft Team- These people are incredible.  The projects on the Martha Stewart website, in the magazine, and on their blog almost always look professional.  They also kick butt when it comes to finding cute ways to celebrate holidays.

How About Orange- A blog created by a textile/graphic designer.  Great tutorials and photos.

Made- There is a reason this person has over 6000 followers- her blog is phenomenal as are her photos.

Bakerella- Just when you thought baked goods couldn't get any cuter, Bakerella did it.  Cake pops are ingenius.

Craftzine and Craftynest- I like these blogs because there are so many ideas that go beyond traditional crafting that I would NEVER think of.

I've also got a bunch of websites that I love frequenting as well.  These are great sites that always have amazing information and great downloads.

Martha Stewart - Obviously.  Amazing projects and templates to download.

Sandi Genovese's Scrapbook Showgram- Remember Sandi Genovese from DIY Scrapbooking?  If you miss the show as much as I do and love paper crafts, check out her current videos & projects!

Scrapbooks Etc. - I get and love this magazine, but you can find almost all of their things online including free templates for paper piecing and templates.  Great place to go when you need some inspiration!

Of course, these days I couldn't possibly live without Pinterest.  If you're not on Pinterest, send me an email at ilove2bake@yahoo.com and I'll send you an invite.  If you are, Follow Me!!

Hope this list helps you find some fun sites!  Please send me your favorite sites to check out!
