Baby Shower Water Bottle Labels

Pin It One of the things I decided to make with my Baby Girl Digital Paper Pack and Baby Boy Digital Paper Pack was some cute waterbottle labels.  I made these to take with me to the hospital.  :)  But they would be so cute for a baby shower or gender reveal party.  I sent some personalized ones to a pregnant friend who was recently hospitalized for dehydration to encourage her to stay hydrated.  I also thought they would be cute to hand out to visitors who come to see the new baby.  Of course, I'll probably keep a bunch all over the house when I get home.  After my first baby when I started nursing, my husband's job was to make sure there was always a full cup of water everywhere I might sit with the baby.  These will make it cute and easy.

I made a generic set that says "Welcome Baby" for both boys and girls. (Would
n't this make a fun guessing game for a gender reveal party to use both and have guests choose which they predict the baby will be?) They're available in my Etsy shop for $2 apiece as a digital file. You'll receive a PDF file via email within 24 hours and can print as many as you like! For only $1 more I will even personalize them to say "Congratulations (names)" or "Welcome Baby (name)" or whatever you like. I could even put a picture on them! When you get them all you have to do is print, cut, and tape them onto your choice of water bottles. It's that easy.

Emergency Moustache Kit

Pin It This was a gift I made for one of my nieces who thinks moustaches are really funny.  Cricut was offering their digital Moustaches & Glasses cartridge one week for $1.99, so I downloaded it and made all of these easy crafts for her out of vinyl.  I picked up some matching duct tape as well.  Most of these items I was able to pick up from the dollar store (mirror, frame, mug, and waterbottle), and the vinyl I purchased from Expressions Vinyl.  I definitely think my favorite item is the mirror.  If you hold it just right it really does look like you have a moustache.  Hope she'll have fun with these.  :)

Baby Girl Digital Paper Pack

I am so excited about these baby boy & girl digital paper packs.  I just love the way they turned out.  I'm using this pack to make my daughter's birth announcements and thank you cards next month.  The thing that I love about digital papers is that you can use them for EVERYTHING.  You can make blog headers, buttons, or facebook timeline backgrounds, you can use them to make digital scrapbook pages that you can print anywhere into one of the cute photo books or calendars, and you can use them to make party printables- cupcake wrappers, decor, party circles or cupcake toppers, party hats, favor boxes, or whatever other kinds of projects you'd like.  In the next week or so I hope to show you some examples of these.

Interested in purchasing the baby girl paper pack?  You can purchase it HERE. It's only $3 and comes with 23 patterned and solid colored 12x12 digital papers in jpg format (300 dpi).  When you purchase you'll receive all these papers in a zip file within 24 hours of purchase and I'm even throwing in a cute free project for you!  Hope you love them and hope they inspire you to create something beautiful for your favorite little girl.

Peacock and Baby Boy Paper Packs

I've been having so much fun learning Photoshop.  I put together two new paper packs that I have available now on my Etsy site for $3 each.

The baby boy paper pack features 20 different papers.  These papers would be perfect for baby shower printables, a baby boy scrapbook, or baby announcements.

The peacock paper pack features 18 different papers.  I love peacock colors, and after making these, I kind of want to have a peacock themed party now!  :)

Name Pillows

A few months ago Cricut was having a contest using their new Create a Critter 2 cartridge and I just fell in love with the work of one of the winners who used the Cricut and Create a Critter 2 cartridge to make a name pillow for her daughter.  I wanted to make some for my daughter(s) as well, but since we haven't completely decided on a name for #2 (due in January), I decided I'd better wait until next Christmas.  In the meantime, I found some other cute name pillows on Pinterest and decided to make some similar ones for some of my favorite little boys & girls.  Here they are:

To make these pillows, I actually used Microsoft Word and the font Tahoma in 400 pt. to create the letters.  I printed them on cardstock, cut them out, and used them as templates.  I made 3" strips for the border.  His pillow colors/fabrics were inspired by the rocket ship & planet fabric.  I used the same colors & fabrics to make Kevin's pillow below.

Leah's pillow was inspired by the bird fabric.  I made 4 1/2" borders for the top and bottom of her pillow, so her pillow is more square while Dylan's turned out more long & thin.  For Kevin's pillow I also used a more square look as well.

I love how these turned out & had fun making them.  I'm looking forward to making more for other friends and eventually for my daughters as well.  I think they make pretty cute gifts.

Hope you enjoy!

Melted Snowman Water Bottle Labels- FREE PRINTABLE!

I love using the My Memories software to create cute designs and printables.  I've used it to make everything from blog headers and buttons to scrapbook pages and cards.  Right now, I'm in the process of using it to make cute party printables for our holiday cookie party and for my daughter's birthday.  (My daughter's birthday isn't until February, but I'm due to have another baby in January, so I figured I'd better plan ahead.)  Anyway, I saw some water bottles on Pinterest a while back that said "Melted Snowman" on the labels, and knew I wanted to make some.

I had these printed at Office Depot by the way, since I didn't want to waste all of my blue ink.  The copies were 59 cents apiece in color and they delivered to my house for free.  So they only cost $3 plus the cost of the waterbottles.

So you want some?  I'm giving away the PDF of the printable I designed for FREE!!!  I know, I probably should put it on my Etsy site, but I've been spending way too much time blogging about things on my Etsy site and not enough time giving out freebies.  I love freebies, especially printables, so I wanted to give back a little.  Hope you enjoy them.  You can download them here.  (I cut each at 2 1/8", starting at the top.  You need the entire width to wrap around the water bottles.)

**Update- A couple of people have told me this link wasn't working for them.  If you have problems downloading the file from 4Shared, email me at and I will send it to you directly.**

If you're interested in My Memories, it's a very user-friendly digital scrapbooking program.  It's a great starter program to start designing your own cards, blog headers, buttons, or printables too.  Binge Crafter readers can get $10 off and a $10 shop credit using the code STMMMS84973.

Let me know if you make some waterbottles!  :)

Iron on Ties and Bowties for Onesies

I've seen applique ties and bowties a lot of places and have to admit that if I was having a boy, he'd probably be wearing these a lot.  I think they're adorable, so naturally I had to make some for my shop.  I'm selling them in matching sets of 2 (a tie and a bowtie) for $3.50 and I will mail them next day.  The good news for you is that all you have to do is iron them on!  8 seconds with a hot, dry iron and you can have an adorable baby onesie to gift or for your little one.  Just in time for the holidays!  I picked out four patterns to start, but will add more as I find more fabric that is fitting.  My BFF suggested a fish tie, so I've definitely got to work on that.  ;)

The first fabric is a polka dot fabric I had previously used to make my nephew some baby gifts when he was born.

The next is a designer Michael Miller weiner dog fabric that I had to buy when I saw it because it's just soooo cute.

Here is the listing.

The third fabric is one that I had used for a banner but I thought might make a more elegant tie, for the boy who is manly enough to wear floral.

Here is the listing.

The fourth fabric is actually my favorite, a plaid that I used in this banner.

Here is the listing.

I might have to make a matching party hat & make one of these into a first birthday set with the banner as well.  Wouldn't that be cute?  Please remember, I am always happy to make custom orders.  Hope you enjoy!
