Paper Purse

Pin It Some of my new neighbors and I will often get together to do crafts.  This time we decided to make paper purses like this:

The great thing about this project is it's made from a single sheet of double sided paper. You definitely want to use a heavier cardstock for this project.  It also helps to have a score board, especially to make the medallion.

Here is a peek at the inside.  These would be great filled with little treats for a party. 

The pattern we used can be found here.  We added a cover as well as the embellishment on the front and velcro spots to hold the purse closed.  I haven't made a lot of 3D paper crafts, but I think I may have to try more since this came out so cute.  Happy crafting!
