I've been cleaning out my craft area and found this the other day. It's a baby hat I made that I was originally intending to try to make into a sundae hat. It didn't go as planned, but I think I could still do something with it. As it is, it's a cute enough hat, but I think too simple. Any ideas?
This hat is so cute! And I love the little apple hat! Seeing that on a baby wearing a red and green outfit would be the cutest thing!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

Ladybugs are really in right now. I saw a tutorial somewhere on google for crocheted ladybugs. Maybe those would be cute. You did a great job. What pattern did you use?
ReplyDeleteThanks Barb & Elizabeth! For this hat I adapted the apple hat pattern I used so that it had a different brim. The apple hat can be found http://explaiknit.typepad.com/AppleaDay.pdf
ReplyDeleteI used the rolled brim option for the apple hat but not for this hat.
Oh, I think it's just precious!! What about a few cute flowers popping up from the green "grass"? :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for joining my Weekend Bloggy Reading party. :) Have fun finding a new blog friend or two, and I hope you'll visit me at Serenity Now again soon! :)
