Christmas Hair Bows

Here are some Christmas bows I'm making for my daughter. I found the ribbon rolls at Michaels for $1 apiece and the snowflake is an old button I had that I just cut the back off to use as an accent.

Calendar Kit

Pin It I'm making this calendar kit as a Christmas gift. I got this DCWV kit from Archiver's, although I think I saw it at AC Moore. It retails for about $15, but of course you can use a coupon.

It comes with blank calendar months (the ones below already have the stickers for the days put on), two pages of paper for each month, a bunch of plain colored papers as well, and stickers with the name of the month, the dates, and some accents.

"Before"

January

February (my favorite)

March
April (no pictures because I'm not sure how many I'm adding to this month yet)
May

Christmas cards

Here are some holiday cards I made during the year. I used the cricut George cartridge to write "Merry". There is also an origami Christmas tree, two simple cards with "Happy Holidays" paper mounted on red and green, and a "snowglobe" card I made using a very old Stampin' Up hedgehog. The snowglobe was made by cutting a circle in the cardstock (using my Martha Stewart circle cutter), filling a clear plastic candy treat bag with glitter and closing it and mounting it to the back using double stick tape, and then backing it with the stamped and colored image.

This is the wedding card I made for my uncle and aunt. Their wedding was in July, so this is a bit late getting posted. I used some of the leftover supplies from making their invitations and my wedding scrapbook. I used swirl stamps with the blue ink I used on their invitations (also inked the edges) and clear quote stickers from the Love quote stack. I used a rub on for the "Happily Ever After", a Martha Stewart edge punch on the turquoise mat on the front, and a champagne glass brad I'd gotten from the Finished in a Flash wedding kit from Paper Wishes. (I painted it with an iridescent acrylic paint to match better.)
